The hotel had a fabulous continental breakfast, perfect for sampling every carb in France. The shared lounges and bar were like having my own personal living room/pub. And with hiking trails nearby, I got my exercise in between croissant indulgences.
Who needs air conditioning in a heatwave? Sweating through the night added a touch of adventure to my stay.

The host was amazingly helpful & accommodating, the bathroom was a great size, and the room was spotlessly clean. The day rooms were cozy and perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine, tea, or coffee. The hotel's location was superb, with shops, cafes, restaurants, and the thermal pool/gym all within easy reach. The hotel had a lovely old-style charm, with spacious dimensions and an incredibly comfortable bed. The lounge areas were welcoming and elegant. Parking was a breeze, with a free spot near the hotel arranged by the manager. The friendly staff provided a warm welcome and the hotel's renovation efforts were clearly visible. A budget hotel that offers great value for money and a fantastic location.

I recently stayed at Hotel Des Bains for a few nights while exploring the lovely town of Aix-les-Bains. The hotel, with its hints of a more prosperous past, is in a great location and offers excellent value for money. The rooms, while dated, were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the Valvital Thermal complex. The lobby and dining area exude an old classic charm, and the day rooms provided a cozy and tranquil space to relax with a book and a glass of wine. a wonderful stay.
I do recommend this hotel.

The hotel offers friendly and helpful staff who make you feel welcome throughout your stay. The location is great, with a park nearby and the train station within easy reach. The communal areas downstairs are pleasant and have a charming atmosphere.
On the downside, the rooms can be on the smaller side, but this was expected based on previous reviews. The bathrooms may also feel a bit tired.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel with a classic ambiance. The spacious dimensions of the room and the super comfortable bed made for a relaxing experience. The lounge areas were inviting and the owner, Michel, was incredibly hospitable. If you appreciate an older style, personal touch, this hotel is perfect for you. Despite being near the road, the hotel's lovely terrass and interior made up for any noise. The location near the city and lively park added to the vibrant atmosphere. Although the internet was weak, the reception area had comfortable armchairs for use. I highly recommend this hotel for its character and welcoming environment.
